I just noticed, I lost a follower. I only had 3, now I'm down to 2. LOL. I'm such a loser...but I guess nobody wants to hear me complain about prime-time television and how I have no life. But you know, all the greats have no lives outside their passions. Well, honestly, I don't care. I'm going to blog about what I want.
Anyway, I heard I should start taking college courses next year. I want to do it and graduate early, but I don't know if I can handle it. I mean, I know it'll benefit me in the long run, because I'll have my core classes out of the way in college, but still. I don't know if I'll be able to balance normal school with the extra. I mean, I already have to put in effort now. Do you think I should drop some Pre-AP classes and do the college credit classes? Or suck it up and do all AP AND college? UGH. I don't know. I mean, I want to take all AP and graduate (hopefully) at the top of the class. I know it's an impossible goal, but I'm willing to climb Everest. (Was that a bad metaphor?) I have to figure out a way to balance it out. And soon. Graduation doesn't seem that far off, even though I'm only a freshman. People are right. High school does go by fast. I'm almost finishing up freshman year, and it seems like I only started. Ugh. I'm morbidly afraid of college, smart, genuis kids, particularly smart, genuis INDIAN kids. You KNOW those kids are freakishly intelligent. So are the Chinese. Fortunately, I'm half Chinese. I've kinda got that smart gene. But only a little. ;)
Next week is going to SUCK. Not only is it TAKS week (stated-mandated test for school), there will be absolutely NO NEW EPISODES of Bones, House OR NCIS. Can you believe it? I think it's because I sent that angry e-mail to Fox. And they conspired my demise by preempting my favorite shows the same week. LOL. Even though NCIS isn't on Fox. It's on CBS. They probably got the word out. 'Conspire against crazy, angry, ranting asians!'
Fin.

Next week for me is going to suck too, CSAP is already here.... And school is going by faster then last year, although, unlike you I'm in 7th. But my friend has younger siblings, I just found out they already went to Out Door Lab!! and just went to the Broker for Valentine's Day. It's weird next year they'll go to school with us, but on the bright side we get to embarrass him.
ReplyDeleteSo I definately freaked out that there is no new House next week. all because of a stupid two-hour 24. GAH. The one hour I look forward to a week...*sigh*
ReplyDeleteso... perfect timing for me to read this, as i'm browsing through all your blogs again and posting comments, just for you! But it makes me tell you that most of what Mrs. Dodson said is FALSE!!!
ReplyDeleteA: I've been to the University of Texas, NSU (Northwestern State University) Which is in Natchitoches Louisiana ( i think i spelt that wrong!! But it's pernounced Nac-O-Dish, so i'm not talking about where SFA is in Nacadoches lol...) And i've been to Kilgore College in Kilgore, (Granted kilgore is a Junior college, just like NTCC, but it's a little bigger than NTCC) But anyways, onto what i was getting to. The classes in all of those colleges MIGHT, and i stress MIGHT! be able to hold 100 students... the biggest program at UT is the athletics program... None of those colleges have classrooms that are big enough to even squeeze in 300 mexicans (haha sorry for the racial slur but i'm trying to stress my Point)
B: If you REALLY want to graduate early, and you set your mind to it, you CAN do it! i know plenty of people who are half as smart as you, and they graduated early, with ease!
C: You can Easily balance your AP/Pre-AP Classes with your dual credit college classes! I plan on taking some classes to get out of doing hard core subject classes during my senior year, so i can take classes at the college, and have some off blocks.
D: If i am going to do it, you should EASILY be able to do it!! :P Not to mention you won't have to balance Band, church, and all your classes! so, it should be super easy for you, ESPECIALLY since you smart!
E: it might require summer classes to graduate early X\ sorry, i know i'm going to hate it, but it'll be worth it for an easy senior year (or in your case a great early start in college)
F: I know you might think, "oh noes if I graduate early, that means i'll be a year younger than everyone in my college!" Yes, that's the case, but my sister, being younger than everyone in her grade class as it is, graduated early, and went to UT where whe is graduating in 2010, with a masters in Psychology, and that's from graduating in 07, so 3 years in college for a masters!
G: If you set your mind to you, YOU can DEFINITELY do anything!!!
